Physioinnovation sarl, the company which include the physiotherapy service called PHYSIONRJ, is what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us physically or electronically. The data we collect can be through a electronic contact form, which is basic data such as name and telephone number. Otherwise it is from you contacting us through mail or telephone. For the purpose of us to do a physiotherapy service, we do need to collect certain information physically on paper ; your name, address, insurance information, diagnosis, email, phone number, other diagnostics relevant for future physiotherapy treatment or services as coaching, bike fitting or training camps if written in consent/contact form. YOUR PERSONAL SENSITIVE INFORMATION IS GIVEN PHYSICALLY IN WRITTEN FORM AND IS SAFELY STORED INDEPENDENTLY AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS WEBSITE NOR OUR ORGANISATIONAL AGENDA, NOR OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Physioinnovation would in case of such an event on this website do the necessary intervention, shut it down and rebuild it from scratch. For maximum security all sensitive information is solely stored on a separate medical software: For data breach on separate medical software based in Switzerland, the host and beholder of this software is responsible for the security of the software and hosting of this. In the unlikelihood of any breach, Physioinnovation cannot be held liable for this and the host and beholder of this software shall inform about such breach.
What we do with your data
All the personal medical data we process is processed by our staff in the Switzerland and hosted by a Swiss company. This website, however is for IT hosting and maintenance located on servers within the European Union. There are no 3rd parties that has access to your personal sensitive data from this website, since we do not have any option for you to give us these on this website, not even basic data such as name, email etc. We have a strict Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal sensitive data. Which is why we have separated medical sensitive data to a host within Switzerland on a Swiss medical software. This website where you only have the possibility to mail us through a hyperlink we have separated to another host and therefore no sensitive personal information is passed on or shared to the seperate medical software. This website and medical information software has no communication and no relation to each other and no information is shared between those.
Marketing
We do not use marketing since physiotherapy services or medical companies are not allowed to do so by law. This website does not contain marketing, but information about our physiotherapy, what type of physiotherapy services we offer, individual coaching services, where to find us, the legal info concerning pricing in physiotherapy and how to contact us. Concerning this website, we might share information regarding scientific trials concerning rehab and their type of treatment. We might share information of exercises and their effect on the musculoskeletal system and this is not marketing but information. We might share news about a change in the company or an event we invite to. We have a social media site, that gives us the possibility for people to follow our clinic, furthermore to interact with above mentioned type of information we might share on this site. Also to share news about our clinic. We have social media accounts to share information about latest advances in physiotherapy or news about our physiotherapy service PhysioNRJ clinic.
Why we need your data and what we do with your data
We need to know your basic personal data with medical prescription, insurance information and if necessary medical reports and diagnostics conclusions in order to provide you with physiotherapy treatment, on-going organizational updates and agenda, invoicing for you or your insurance and contact with your medical prescriber (if necessary or upon demand from you). –We will only collect personal data from you that we do need in order to provide and oversee the physiotherapy or coaching service to you, including invoicing, diagnosis, your insurance details, your contact details. Physiotherapy is under medical discretion and we do not share any sorts of personal sensitive information with 3rd parts, unless the law enforces us to do so. We do need to share basic data from you to invoice your insurance company, contact with your medical prescriber (if necessary or upon demand from you). This is a normal workflow in physiotherapy and the medical profession. All the personal sensitive data we process is processed physically and electronically by our staff in the Switzerland and by a Swiss host. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

What we would also like to do with your basic contact data (name, address, mail)
We would however like to use your name, address, and/or email address (from initial physical contact form on paper) to send you our newsletter maximum 1-2 times per year, with information about new services or structural changes with employees and greetings for holidays. The newsletter is sent either post or email. Your address will not be shared with any third parties. The newsletter by email are sent by “Mail Chimp”. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us via phone, email or simply clicking on unsubscribe. If you wish to contact us by email, sms or through a message application, you give your automatic consent for us to reply on your request on the given platform.
How long we keep your data
We are required under law to keep your personal data (name, address, contact details, insurance details and medical prescription) for the legal amount of years before it can be destroyed. Your basic electronically contact information we might use to contact you by mail or phone and will be kept with us until you notify us to delete it or that you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us.
Telehealth (visioconférences, téléconsultations)
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we offer teleconsultations (telehealth). The platform we offer this service through is called Signal Messenger, an end-to-end encrypted platform meaning no third party, nor Signal messenger can access messages or calls.
What are your rights
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated.
